Dedicated transport means the job determines the solution
Dedicated transport is appropriate when a shipment cannot be handled through a standard process. The reason may be urgency, a narrow time window, sensitive cargo, unusual access conditions or a specific vehicle requirement. A complete request therefore matters. iTranspo does not treat “special transport” as a generic promise; it focuses on the concrete requirements from which a suitable transport option can be determined.
What can make a transport request special

Pickup or handover must fit a narrow operational schedule.

What needs to be clarified before booking
A workable request should include at least the pickup and delivery addresses, time window, dimensions and weight, plus relevant loading, unloading and access information. Permit-controlled, dangerous or otherwise regulated transport must not be assumed to be feasible based on a general online request alone; any special legal or technical requirements must be checked before acceptance. Can dedicated transport start at short notice? It may be possible, but it cannot be guaranteed in general. Location, timing, vehicle requirements and actual availability are decisive. What is the difference between dedicated transport and an express courier? With an express courier, speed is the main requirement.
