One route, several stops, with sequence and shipment data managed as a single transport job.
Enter the transport details first. Additional stops and the exact sequence can then be considered according to the route.
When a route contains several pickup or delivery points, every stop affects driving time, sequence, load status and available capacity. The route should therefore be planned as one connected job instead of treating each movement independently. iTranspo is designed to represent multiple stops and their sequence within one route.
Collect material or shipments from different locations and move them onward together.
One route supplies several branches, project sites or recipients in sequence.
Combine deliveries with pickup of returns, old equipment or containers.
For multi-stop routes, the total load is not the only relevant number. After a delivery, space can become available again; after an additional pickup, utilisation increases on the following leg. This leg-by-leg view becomes particularly important when a planned route is later combined with additional LTL/shared capacity.
1
For every stop, record whether goods are picked up, delivered or returned.
2
Account for quantity, dimensions and weight on each route segment.
3
Assess sequence, time windows and vehicle capacity together.
Is multi-stop the same as rollout logistics? No. Multi-stop describes one route with several stops. Rollout logistics can involve many parallel or sequential routes across a large number of locations. Can capacity change after every stop? Yes. That is exactly why utilisation should be considered leg by leg. Can another stop be added later? That depends on the job, route, time windows, capacity and approval from the executing transport company.
